I’m James Graves, I build geometric illustrations and design layouts based on my passion for Jesus’s counterintuitive love/solutions, the art of simplifying details and all things nostalgia!

I work full time at my local church, Fairhaven, I do freelance on the side as well as many site projects just for fun. I’ve always loved drawing and am still so grateful that I get to do this for a living!

More about my passion:

• Jesus: His counterintuitive solutions blow my mind and I love pointing others to His love and genius.

• Illustrations: I’m obsessed with 45º angles, shapes, lighting and fun color combos.

• Nostalgia: I have a passion for retro games, gaming soundtracks, mid century design, the 80s and all things nostalgia!

• Design Layouts: Not all my work is fully illustrative but all of my work and illustrations are carefully laid out, an art form all its own!

• Elephants: They’re my favorite animals for so many reasons and will be part of me for all times, haha.
